We spent most of one summer at the lake house, and I still think about it whenever the weather turns warm.
Mornings were slow. Someone would start the coffee, someone else would find the good chairs, and nobody was in any hurry to be anywhere.
What I remember most is how welcome everyone was made to feel. It was the kind of place you left a little lighter than when you arrived.
